This position is to provide coordination and administrative support to our Rental Production department. Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

  • Provide general production and administrative support for the day-to-day operations of Rental Department
  • Receive and process customer orders paying close attention to all contact information and job requirement details
  • Manage all customer inquiries and orders; resolve customer problems
  • Handle customer inquiries regarding product and availability
  • Supply customers with proposal and swatch samples of existing as well as new items
  • Work with Production Department to ensure all client information as well as job specifications are current and correct
  • Follow up with client contact to either book or cancel job request
  • Work with rental team to coordinate scheduling of crew and transportation for all jobs
  • Work in tandem with Marketing department to coordinate job follow-up, photo ops, testimonials, etc
  • Prepare customer invoices and process customer payments

Production Manager

Drape Kings, a leading provider of rental event drapery, is seeking a full time Senior Production Manager for its North Bergen, New Jersey location. T he position requires a very high level of experience and mastery skill sets in all of the following areas:

Multiple Project Coordination

The ability to manage many rental jobs/projects at once is extremely important. Position requires vigorous attention to detail for each job from booking, packing, scheduling and execution.

Customer Service

The SPM becomes the point of contact once a job books and must maintain the highest level of client satisfaction all while dealing with both internal and external changes and challenges.

Problem Solver

The nature of our business brings an amount of challenges and rapid changes that requires superior “on-the-fly” problem solving skills.

Traffic/Workflow Management

Each rental job requires some sort of delivery method. Customer Pickup, Delivery, Providing Full Crew all involves traffic management and crew scheduling in order to follow strict time frames and client demands.

Team Management

Position directly oversees an internal direct support staff of up to 8 and an external crew of many freelancers.

The ideal candidate will have a solid and extensive background in Audio Visual Integration, Special Events Production, Live Events Production, Rental and Staging, TV/Film/Commercial Production. Must be able to work very fast paced “event” hours and have a valid driver’s license and clean record.

Marketing Director

Drape Kings, fast growing Leader in Event Rental Drape, servicing the Events Industry primarily in the Tri-State area is seeking a Marketing Specialist to handle all aspects of marketing and advertising. Other responsibilities include managing all special event promotions, marketing collateral including product brochures, member/affiliate communications, and management of company web site. Position requires a flexible and creative self-starter with the ability to manage multiple tasks, and a ”roll-up-your-sleeves” attitude. This is a fast-paced environment with potential for growth and increased responsibility.

To perform this job successfully, individual must be able to take ownership of special projects as assigned. Job responsibilities include development of all aspects of marketing support:

  • Work closely with Sales and Rentals to identify market segments for expansion consistent with the service offering of the company.
  • Product launches, presentations, launch kits, and product messaging via development of E-marketing strategies and execution of monthly e-mails.
  • Create awareness within market segment and maintain relations with trade associations.
  • Research appropriate markets for advertising.
  • Create advertising strategy, timeline calendar, and budget.
  • Coordinate all elements necessary for ad design and placement.
  • Maintain and update company web-site.
  • Trade show management.
  • Compose press releases, determine appropriate distribution, and serve as point of contact for media or customer inquiries.
  • Must be personable, confident, and comfortable with on site client presentations. Local travel required.
  • Prior experience in the Events Industry a plus but not a requirement.

Work experience requirements:

  • 5-7 years prior experience in Marketing and/or related positions.

Job Objective

Responsibilities
