Well, we survived the sweets and goodies of the holiday season and are pacing ourselves through Valentine’s Day. But there was one chocolate morsel we could not resist: The Sophisticated Smarts of M&M’s latest spokes candy, Ms. Brown. After the candy’s introduction during this year’s Super Bowl, Mars Chocolate of North America brought in Drape Kings, America’s Pipe and Drape Experts, and the fabulous Jes Gordon, of jesGORDON/properFUN to deck the halls of their temporary M&M’s Museum of Chocolate Art at 468 West Broadway.
This delicious venue started as a cold SoHo store front and ended as a stylish, warm and inviting space that delighted and educated the hungry crowds about the life of Ms. Brown. This was accomplished with the creation of multiple casual yet chic seating areas throughout the space for attendees to enjoy. With almost 200 feet of Drape Kings 12 ft high rich Brown Velour the space was enveloped with warmth and elegance as opposed to its traditional cold setting. An additional 60 ft of our 8 ft high Chocolate (no calories!) Velour created additional theme specific rooms for the displaying of art, exhibits, and food stations.
This temporary museum bedazzled the discerning New York City crowds from Wednesday, February 8th through Sunday, February 12th. To relive all the goodness of this event, check out the photos below. Want even more delicious sweetness?!? Like our Facebook page for additional photos and info!
