Can you build a diorama? Drape Kings is looking for a highly motivated self-starter to join our team as the Trade Show Coordinator. This individual will provide expert project management skills in support of trade shows and marketing initiatives including management of all marketing support materials and uniform procurement.

We are expanding our team in the US to include another dedicated sales expert who loves to hunt! Already established in US and around the globe, AV Drop is the hottest product to hit the scenic world. The unique attributes and European styling of this product has become widely accepted around the world – no tools, customizable scenic walls and printed graphics meets the ever changing needs of our customers from AV Specialty channel who create events every day to Event Producers for Fortune 500 companies to PR firms who need simple step and repeats.

  • Manage end to end process of trade shows 
  • Serve as project manager for all shows including collaborative booth design, set -up, strike and ship
  • Organize special purchases, and maintain schedules for collection of materials
  • Organize and manage promotional items and marketing materials inventory
  • Create regular performance reports for events and other marketing efforts
  • Coordinate with Digital Marketing for all trade show promotion
  • Keep calendar and spreadsheet of all planned shows
  • Order all products needed for all events including special requests
  • Manage procurement and disbursements of all Trade Show collateral materials including brochures and swag

Tradeshow Specifics:

  • Plan and execute all Regional and National trade shows annually
  • Participate in both trade show booth design and warehouse pre-build
  • Attend trade shows to build on site
  • Participate in trade show planning and budgeting
  • Coordinate and book all travel including air & hotel
  • Coordinate all advertising for trade shows
  • Organize and manage promotional items and marketing materials inventory
  • Complete ordering for all required show deadlines
  • Coordinate shipping, with tracking follow up
  • Schedule material handling
  • Coordinate all vendors and services needed for trade show completion
  • Work with Marketing on campaign management including all advertising and e-blasts, both pre-show and post show ROI and KPI tracking
  • Other miscellaneous duties as requested by Manager, Executive Team or Company including assisting in other areas of marketing or other areas of the company such as photoshoots, product photography

Your Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in marketing, theatre or related field
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel, Outlook & PowerPoint
  • CAD, Visio, AutoCad, Vectorworks, or Sketch-up a plus
  • Design background preferred
  • Ability to manage multiple projects at once in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment
  • Ability to seek solutions to problems independently
  • Excellent time management & organizational skills
  • Ability to manage results in stressful situations
  • Ability to work independently & as part of a team
  • Must be honest, dependable, resourceful and work at an efficient pace with self-start abilities
  • Ability to be creative and flexible and have a good attitude
  • Commitment to work can on occasion extended to evenings and possibly weekends
  • Some heavy lifting required
  • Willingness to travel outside of geographic area, as needed
